Installing your Cinderella toilet

To ensure optimal performance and maintain your warranty, always follow the steps outlined in the product manual.

Before You Begin

Before starting the installation, carefully review the product manual. Check that you have all the necessary parts and tools. If anything is unclear, contact your retailer or reach out to us directly — see our Contact page.

What You Need for a Complete Installation

A correct installation requires the following components:

  • The Cinderella incineration toilet
  • The model-specific installation kit, delivered in two boxes:

Box 1 includes:

  • Flue terminal cap
  • 90° bend
  • Wall brackets
  • Model-adapted components

Box 2 includes:

  • Six UV-stabilized ventilation pipes with socket (1000 mm / 39.37 in)

Using the original Cinderella installation kit ensures proper function and simplifies setup.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Step-by-step installation guide

1. Choose the Right Location

Cinderella toilets are IP34-rated and approved for wet rooms. They also work in unheated environments, making them ideal for cabins, tiny homes, garden houses and similar buildings.

  • No need to fix the toilet to the floor – leaving it loose makes maintenance easier.
  • Install on a flat, hard surface (e.g., tile, concrete, wood). Avoid carpets.
  • Heated floors are fine.

2. Ensure Proper Fresh Air Supply

Cinderella Comfort and Premium models use a dedicated air intake pipe that connects directly to the incineration toilet.

For Cinderella Classic and Freedom models:

  • Use the included Cinderella wall vent for optimal airflow.
  • Alternative air inlets must be at least 145 x 145 mm (5.7 x 5.7 in) or Ø 160 mm (6.3 in round).
  • Avoid mosquito nets, as they reduce airflow.
  • Install the air inlet close to the toilet to minimize drafts.

3. Install the Exhaust Venting and Flue Terminal Cap

You can install the venting system in two ways:

  1. Interior installation: Venting runs vertically inside the building and exits through the roof.
  2. Exterior installation: Venting goes horizontally through an exterior wall, then vertically up past the roofline.

Installation tips:

  • Pipe should run vertically from the 90° bend and continue straight up.
  • Two 45° bends are allowed (max 1 meter / 39 inches apart) if needed.
  • 45° bends are sold separately.
  • Freedom (gas model): Must be vented straight up only—no additional bends allowed.

The exhaust pipe must extend at least 60 cm (24 inches) above the point where it exits the roof.

4. Connecting the Toilet

For Cinderella Classic, Comfort, and Premium models:
Connect to a grounded 10A circuit via wall socket.

For Freedom (gas model):

  • Connect to a propane gas cylinder or tank (Always follow local regulations for gas installation)
  • Connect to a 12V battery (min. 50 Ah) or a solar power system

All electrical and gas connections must follow the product manual to ensure safe operation and to keep your warranty valid.
