On the beautiful Helgeland coast in northern Norway, on a small island near Dønna, Halvor Bakke and the team from Stugfixarna Norge (Season 11) have given a cherished family cabin new life. With strong family ties and fond memories connected to the place, the goal was to create a cabin and bathroom that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
A bathroom combining function and aesthetics
The walls were clad with paneling and the ceiling painted to give the room a warm, cohesive look. A shower cabin was installed – spacious, yet without dominating the bathroom. The biggest transformation came with the installation of Cinderella Freedom, a waterless incineration toilet that is both hygienic and environmentally friendly.
With this solution, the family now enjoys a practical and comfortable toilet experience – perfect for a place meant to be used year-round and shared with family and friends.
